Our tour was run by Black Cat Cruises, who were also doing the swimming with dolphins one on a smaller boat, which docked once we'd left. We spent quite a bit of time trying to find the dolphins, as Sky, one of the people working for the company, kept seeing them. Many of us missed the mum with calf and others as they would be mainly under the surface. A little blue penguin swam by doing what we were told was cleaning itself. We saw cormorants, which are called shags over there, albatrosses and fur skin seals before heading back. The geese where just there. The scenery was volcanic rock and so beautiful. We were given a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Once we left the boat, I went for a wander around the town. It tried raining a few times, at one point a rainbow formed as I was talking to a local lady waiting for her husband. They told me the Oosterdam, which had been in the previous day, didn't come in as far as our ship had. I liked how the seagulls wouldn't fly off, just step out of the way as they scrounged.
