I was sailing on Celebrity Constellation on the 13th October 2012, heading from Southampton to Le Havre. Coming the opposite way was Queen Mary 2. She had been scheduled to sail from Le Harve at 9pm CET but was over an hour early. Having no internet access and texts either going through fast or taking hours, I had no idea where the hell she was. Luckily after dinner, I looked out of my cabin window and saw a huge mass of lights. Like her predecessor, QE2, she had an unmistakable shape though I wished her funnel light was on.
