We were passing Dover very slowly on Celebrity Constellation on the 6th September 2012. In the distance, I just managed to spot Grand Mistral, which was repositioning back to the Med after the summer season. The 48,200grt Grand Mistral made her debut in 1999 as Mistral for Festival Cruises until they went bankrupt. She is the baby sister to MSC Armonia and Sinfonia and half-sister to MSC Lirica and MSC Opera. She has been with Iberojet since Festival went out of business. In a surprise move, she was transferred to Costa to become Costa neoRiviera from November 2013.
