Britannia (II) & MSC Virtuosa UK Debut
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020.  A brand new ship on the 12th May 2021 and what will be the first ship to sail the UK Domestic cruises.  MSC Virtuosa was ssupposed to debut in late 2020 but was delayed due to Covid-19.  This 181,541grt ship left the yard at St. Nazaire on the 30th March, docking in Le Havre on the 2nd April, where she remained (minus the odd tootle) until the 11th May.  She was due to dock at 2.30pm but went to the Upper Swinging Ground to turn, passing the brand new Horizon Terminal in 102, which will be her home later this summer when building is complete.  She is staying until the 20th when she'll set sail with her first passengers.  Britannia had arrived on the 9th.  I went home after she'd turned.
