Celebrity Silhouette, Iona, Queen Elizabeth (II) & Sky Princess (II) UK Debut
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020.  The 145,281grt Sky Princess made her UK debut on the 23rd July 2021.  She debuted in 2019 and is the second ship to bear the name.  She had spent most of the tme anchored off Limassol, heading to Augusta for supplies, finally heading north on the 11th July.  Originally due in Southampton 10 days later, she instead went to Rotterdam.  She left there on the 22nd and arrived the following morning following in Silhouette, Iona and Betty.
Back down for a very windy and occasionally drizzly sailaway.  Sky was scheduled to sail to anchorage at 5pm with Silhouette half an hour later and Betty 6.30pm instead of 8pm.  Sky began dropping her lines 10 minutes late and went up to the Lower Swinging Ground to turn, giving Iona a Love Boat greeting.  Silhouette, the only one with passengers, had wanted to get off a bit early, but that buggered up their plans.  Sky played the Love Boat horn again as she neared Hythe pier.  Betty threw her ropes 7 minutes late but thankfully I did manage to make the bus.
