Ventura, Spirit of Discovery & Queen Mary 2
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020.  Semi-busy day on the 29th September 2021  Ventura had arrived on the 28th and was staying until the 30th.  Mary returned from refit on the 29th September 2021, having left on the 24th August.  Instead of Hamburg it was Brest, which Carnival UK have been using for the rest over the past few years, and she arrived on the 27th.  After departing on the 26th September, she did sea trials in the Bay of Biscay, which is where Queen Elizabeth was chasing the sun.  She was staying until the 5th October, due to move berths on the 1st.  Meanwhile the star of the show was Spirit of Discovery.  Her 6pm departure was changed to 8.30pm with fireworks at Moorhead Buoy at 9pm to celebrate the departure for Saga's 70th anniversary.  The tug Willpower towed the barge to position before Discovery left.  Originally Mary had been due on the 30th but it was changed to 7pm, docking after the Saga left.  Due to the delay for fireworks, Mary instead came for 11.30pm.
