Queen Victoria, Disney Magic Southampton Debut & Britannia (II)
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020.  Disney Magic made her long-overdue Southampton debut on the 9th May 2021, having sailed from Dover just before 8pm the night before.  She had spent the best part of a year there in lay-up and was now preparing for a summer restart.  The cruises, to begin mid-July, would be using Liverpool, Southampton, Newcastle and Tilbury.  The Dover omission, where they summer, was unexpected.  Britannia was behind, popping in more often for the same reason as crew returned.  Vicky had been in since the 7th.
I went down in the afternoon for Vicky's departure.  It was a bit windy but mild despite that.  There were a few people about.  She had Lomax ably assisting her on the bow and I managed to get an unobstructed shot of the brand new Horizon cruise terminal in 102.  Disney Magic sailed at 9pm while Britannia was staying until the 14th.
