Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020. Southampton had seen its share of waifs and strays, most of which disembarked passengers then went off to lay-up. Britannia and Ventura looked like they were staying. P&O had announced Azura was going to Portland anchorage, but so far hadn't shifted. On the 10th April, Vicky was finally doing just that with 847 crew, ten less than the 2nd April. Since her return on the 26th March, she had tootled a few times. After Ventura returned from her latest overnight tootle, Vicky set off almost 90 minutes later. With the berth now free, it meant Allure could return, having been due on the 4th. Because of the Coronavirus restrictions, although not all during lay-up are shown, I have included them as they were in port. |
