| Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020. Norwegian Star made her debut on the 13th May. She had been due to do her summer season here but things changed. I'd seen her previously in Los Angeles and Miami, both times from the same cabin on Vision of the Seas. I felt like I should be in it to greet her this time. She left Miami on the 28th April and was staying a few days to repatriate crew. Meanwhile, Marella Celebration had lost her TUI logo and sailed from Southampton for the final time. She remained at Nab Anchorage until the 27th when she departed one-way for Barcelona, arriving on the 1st June. After leaving three days later, she then anchored off Malta until the 4th July, arriving at a Greek anchorage on the 6th July. Due to Coronavirus restrictions, although not all during lay-up are shown, I have included them as they were in port. |
