| Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, most cruise lines suspended operations in March 2020. Covid-19 shielding for the vulnerable ended on the 4th August 2020 so my dad made his first foray out of the house, and it was a lovely day for it. Aurora was back for his birthday! The move back home began on the 9th June when she sailed from Dover to Poole anchorage for the first time, making her final visit to the Kent port on the 21st July. Since Arcadia had already returned and Dover used more fuel, it made sense. One thing different, like Arcadia, was the red paint by the anchor, which had been white when she went to Dover in March. Norwegian Star was still awaiting orders while Azura stayed overnight. |
