Spirit of Discovery & AIDAprima
Saga's new ship, Spirit of Discovery, made a lomg-awaited return to Southampton on the 17th October 2019 as she repositioned for winter  Originally scheduled for 8am, it got earlier and earlier from 7.30am, 6.30am and finally 6.15am.  Her departure was supposed to be 5pm but that was changed to 6pm.  Meanwhile, another returnee in the shape of AIDAprima was due at 7.45am and sailing at 7pm.  The weather was hit and miss and before Discovery sailed, there was a downpour so bad the ship disappeared and water got through my waterproof coat.  When she finally silently cast off at almost 6.20pm, it was becoming very cold.  As the AIDA had changed to 7.30pm, we went home.
