Harmony of the Seas, Celebrity Eclipse, Ventura & Queen Victoria
Royal Caribbean has a rare meeting with sister line Celebrity in Southampton on the 22nd May 2016 as Harmony and Eclipse were both due to arrive for 5.15am, Harmony in City Terminal while Eclipse went to Ocean. Ventura was due for 7am and the wrong way around in Mayflower while Vicky would be facing the correct way in QEII.  It was a gorgeous morning with a few down to see Harmony before buggering off.  It became a bit misty as it got lighter.  Once Vicky was docking, we went home.
At lunchtime, I headed over to town to meet Oskar then we went to Mayflower Park, which was pretty busy.  Town Quay next and it started to rain heavily.  Solent Rose was doing the Hythe ferry run since Great Expectations was still out despite only just returning from refit two days earlier and Uriah Heep was undergoing repairs after colliding with the pier.  She's a cute little thing and reminds me of a smaller version of the seventy year old Hotspur IV, which they ruined.  Pity they can't buy a boat along those lines for use in summer.
