Harmony of the Seas UK Debut, AIDAprima, & MSC Splendida
The brand new 227,000grt Harmony of the Seas left St. Nazaire on the 15th May 2016 and arrived in Southampton two days later  She anchored south-west of the Isle of Wight late morning on the 16th then moved towards Nab around midnight, due to dock at 6.15am.  AIDAprima was alternating our calls with Le Havre so popped in today instead of the day before while MSC Splendida was coming for 7.15am. Harmony led the way with Svitzer Alma and Lomax giving the welcome.  Ashleigh R was on the Hythe ferry run while they had leased Solent Rose again as back up since their own were indisposed.  There was quite a reasonable turn out for Harmony despite coming so early, including the usual idiots.  Funniest were those who had no idea what the ship was or the ones who thought it was full of passengers still asleep.  Not one of these *cough* ship lovers were around for Splendida since they left as the AIDA was docking.
