| I had a visit to MSC Splendida on the 1st September 2015 so headed over on the ferry. She was originally due to berth in Ocean Terminal but that was changed to Mayflower. Mayflower Park was annoyingly closed for Boat Show preparations so I had to get a taxi to the ship rather than walk via Dock Gate 8. Unusually, Balmoral was facing the right way round and it was the 5th time in 6 weeks I'd seen her. People will talk! Shieldhall was in 110 and Lomax still in 109 for some reason. After the visit, I walked back to Town Quay. Tenacious was in 104 looking resplendent. Originally Anthem was 4.30pm with Balmoral an hour later and the other two at 8pm but they brought forward Balmoral by an hour so I caught the ferry. The car carrier, Auto Bay was arriving as Anthem drew closer. Once they'd gone I headed for the bus because I'd hurt my foot. MSC Splendida sailed at 8.30pm with AIDAbella once she'd passed. I heard them blast to each other from the house. |
