A welcome returnee on the 18th April 2014 when Crystal Serenity completed her world cruise. We'd seen her sister, Symphony, a few times instead, including one call instead of Dover due to weather. I'd seen Serenity a few times on my travels though, which was always a bonus. As Serenity was due for 4.15am, I stayed at home but was awake when she passed so managed to catch her emerging from behind the trees. Also in would be Oriana, so I waited since she wasn't that far behind. |
It was a beautiful day but a bit nippy. We decided to go to Shore Road since Oriana was due to sail at 4.30pm, then go to the marina for Serenity's 6pm departure. As usual, things never work out how you plan. Oriana sailed half an hour late, doing much blasting to let everyone know she was finally on the move. Serenity wasn't going to keep us waiting long, despite having to turn around. She left ten minutes early and once she neared Fawley, we headed home after spotting two ducks hiding in the bushes. |
