Adventure of the Seas & Queen Mary 2
Another trip to Calshot on the 24th June 2014 for Adventure of the Seas and Mary.  The last time I saw Mary from there she was sailing to refit and be reflagged from Southampton.  Both were due to sail at 4.30pm but Mary left late on two previous calls.  Would she do the same?  These ships don't take into account things like buses and being stranded at Calshot if they bugger about.  While we were at the bus stop, we heard Adventure give her usual solitary blast at 4.25pm - She was being cooperative at least!  Good shippies go in my will.  Mary was still listed for 4.30pm but failed to move her Prima Donna backside for a further forty one minutes!  I know she grew up watching Lizzie's diva behaviour and has been trying to emulate since she was two, but she's become far worse in less time so I dread to think how she'll be in twenty years!  The weather was hot, with occasionally a nice, cooling breeze, but it made distance shots shimmer in the heat.  Mary certainly made her voice heard, first at Fawley, then Calshot before coming into view for us then near Cowes.
