| Back down on the 18th December 2014. Aurora had arrived the night before resplendent in her new livery while Oriana was still sporting the old. Oriana had been the first to receive the previous P&O Cruises branding in 2006 and Aurora the last in 2009 so it was ironic the sisters were together at this time. Only the elder lady would be sailing at 4.30pm this day so a short stalk - or that was what was supposed to happen! Oriana just sat there and sat there and sat there. An hour and fifteen minutes late, she began to throw the ropes - yay! It was pretty windy but at least not raining. There wasn't much horn blowing between the two sadly. |
