Nautica & MSC Opera
Another new ship for me as the 30,277grt Nautica arrived in Southampton on the 15th August 2013.  It was her second call of the year, but I had been on the maiden voyage of Royal Princess when she arrived in June so had to wait for her second.  Also it was a momentous occasion as I had all eight of these former Renaissance ships at last - wooooooo!  The old R Five began service in 2000 and sailed until Renaissance went bust after 9/11.  In 2002, she was chartered to Pullmatur to be Blue Dream (I) for two years.  Towards the end of 2005, she joined her sisters, the former R One and R Two (Insignia and Regatta respectively) at Oceania cruises.  During 2014, each of the ladies is going to receive major refurbishment.  Due to the stupid time Nautica was arriving and the 6pm departure the wrong way round while Opera was more reasonable, we didn't go down.  Opera left before 4pm while Nautica at around 6.15pm.
