Oriana (II) & Queen Mary 2
I was on QM2 arriving back after my birthday cruise on the 15th December 2013.  Oriana was ahead of us and docking in QEII Terminal, where we had been originally scheduled.  Arcadia had been due after refit in Bremerhaven but high winds a week before delayed her.  We had bad winds crossing from Le Havre resulting in the decks being closed.  As we came up Southampton Water, they gradually opened them but the Observation Deck wasn't until we were passing Hythe.  Since they hadn't taken our luggage, we self-disembarked and joined the deck 12 queue, walking to Town Quay in the drizzle, where we met my friend Fay until catching the 10.30am ferry.
Due to the weather, I didn't go down to watch them sail as intended.  Instead, I got Mary passing the window after sailing a bit late at 5pm, with the assistance of Tenax, while Oriana slipped out almost an hour later as I was having dinner so I missed her.
