Black Prince (II), Oriana (II) & Queen Victoria
The Fred Olsen vessel Black Prince was still in Southampton on the 22nd October 2009.  After undergoing a few changes as well as destoring from the moment she returned on the 16th, there had been no further progress, despite the handover to the new owners due to take place on the 20th.  She was even still flying the Fred Olsen house flag.  Oriana had arrived first, followed by Queen Victoria for 7am.  I had to meet a friend so went across on the ferry to see what or had not been done since I last passed on the 17th.
Trinity House's 302gt vessel Alert had arrived for 11am, so just forty-five minutes before I caught the ferry.  The three year old is an unsual sight since we normally see her elder sister Patricia.
I didn't go down for the departures.  Instead stayed in bed with my back injury, which thankfully was slowly easing.  Black Prince's departure date was changed yet again.  This time from the 26th at 2pm to 28th at the same time.  Would she go and, if so, called what?  To see photos of her final arrival, click here.
