The P&O cruise ship Aurora and Fred Olsen Cruise Line's 28,492grt Black Watch in Southampton on the 16th December 2005. Black Watch was originally built for Norway's Royal Viking Line as the 21,847grt Royal Viking Star, debuting in 1972 and the first of three sister ships, Royal Viking Sea and Royal Viking Sky being the others. In 1988 she was sold to Kloster Cruise in Nassau. Three years later she was transferred to Norwegian Cruise Line and renamed Westward. After two years cruising for them, she passed to Royal Cruise Line and renamed Star Odyssey. In 1996 Fred Olsen Cruise Line became her current owners and gave her the name Black Watch to fit in with their Scottish themed ships.
