| The first ships of my cruise when we arrived on Aurora in Ålesund on the 20th July 2011. Originally were were due to be anchored but they managed to secure a berth away from the action reulting in our arrival and departure times changing. Ryndam would be in Skansekaia Nordvest while Oceania's brand new Marina would be in the passenger terminal. The 66,000grt Marina is Oceania's first newbuild and set sail on her maiden voyage on the 22nd January 2011 from Barcelona to Miami. After a couple of Panama Canal transits and a Caribbean cruise, she sailed back to Barcelona in March before heading to Northern Europe in June. This particular cruise departed from Dover. Ryndam was in sight when I headed up on deck for our arrival, Marina coming into view a while later. |

| We then headed up towards the viewing point at Åksla where were could see the town and two of the three ships. |

| Then it was to Giske where we could see Aurora and Ryndam but Marina was hidden. |

| We then headed to the lighthouse before returning to town. |

| In town, we first drove around while the guide told us about certain parts before dropping people off. I took the opportunity to get close up pics of Ryndam before catching the shuttle back. Marina was the other side of town and my back couldn't support all that walking so I got her from the shuttle. |
