Thomson Dream, AIDAvita, Norwegian Epic & Silver Spirit in Palma de Mallorca

A new port for me in the shape of Palma de Mallorca on the 15th October 2011.  We were due for 6am but I couldn't be bothered getting up.  Thomson Dream had arrived for 5am and AIDAvita the same time as us.  I was particularly pleased to see the AIDA because it was the last one I needed of the current fleet!  The 42,289grt AIDAvita entered service in 2002 and was the first of two (the other being AIDAaura) ordered for P&O for their AIDA brand, both of which had London registry (now Genova like sister line Costa Cruises).  Silver Spirit was due to arrive at 8pm and was docking alongside us when I went to get breakfast.

I had an excursion and managed to get some shots going out, en route and coming back.
After enjoying my lunch view of the Thomson and Silversea by us, I went for a wander to get some photos of Spirit as up close and personal as you could get from above on a rival ship!  I'd also try and get something on the Thomson.  Sometimes there are advantages to being on something huge.
We and Silver Spirit were due to sail at 6pm but by the time I got up there before time, she was off.  It was like a repeat of the morning!  We went nearly fifteen minutes late.
The review of my Norwegian Epic cruise is here.
