Norwegian Epic, Liberty of the Seas, Grand Holiday, Silver Spirit & Seven Seas Voyager in Livorno

Livorno beckoned on the 11th October 2011, as Norwegian Epic was the first to arrive, but Liberty of the Seas wasn't too far behind.  I'd last seen her when she'd been in Southampton en route to America in April 2007 so it was nice to see her.  She'd undergone a few changes during her refit earlier in the year, including a screen added on the pool deck.  During Epic's Med cruises, she always played what I called Epic Roulette in Livorno and Civitavecchia, which was where would she berth?  Often it was never the same two weeks running. Well today it would be behind Liberty.  Meanwhile, Grand Holiday and Silver Spirit were arriving, Grand Holiday not berthing in her usual spot by the container cranes.

I was absolutely freezing and my Epic inaugural season hoodie was crap at keeping me warm (apart from my ears) so I went in, completely forgetting about Seven Seas Voyager.  I had an excursion and when I got back, took a couple of dock pictures.
Lunch in the Garden Cafe and what a view!  I had an urge to jump from Epic's bow onto Liberty's skirt so it was a good job I have a bad back.  Afterwards I went on deck to find Seven Seas Voyager and get a better shot of the other two.
Sailaway time and we were due at 7pm like Liberty and Silver Spirit.  Grand Holiday was 7.30pm with Seven Seas Voyager 8pm.  When I got on deck, Liberty had sneaked off early!  We were next followed by Silver Spirit once we were well out of the way.
The review of my Norwegian Epic cruise is here.
