| While returning to Harwich on the 2nd September 2012 aboard Discovery, I spotted a familiar ship out of the window heading in the other direction. AIDAluna was en route to Invergordon as part of a repositioning to New York for autumn. I had already seen her going the other way at the start of my cruise. |

| Later that night, having returned to the cabin, I noticed a pretty lit shape from the window. Saga Ruby was returning to Dover, having been in Oslo the day before. A quick dash on deck for photos but distance and wind made it difficult. |
