After seven sea days aboard Vision of the Seas since leaving Lisbon on the 28th October, we finally reached land on the 5th November 2013 as we approached the beautiful island of St Maarten.  Right behind us was Liberty, having left Barcelona on the 27th.  It was disappointing we hadn't been in tandem.  Coming from the opposite direction were Epic and Disney Fantasy.  I had last seen Liberty and Epic in Barcelona from the new Royal Princess back in June but the Disney was a new one for me.  She was the second of two new ships, weighing 130,000grt like her sister Disney Dream, and debuted in 2012, retaining the sleek lines of Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.  While one person said Epic was another Royal Caribbean ship despite the clue being in the Norwegian Cruise Line on the side, another was excited seeing the Disney, saying Queen Mary 2 was coming!  They were very disappointed when I pointed out Mary had left Southampton the day before.
