Lanzarote on the 5th November 2011 where we met Adventure of the Seas, who had arrived for 7am to our 8am. Adventure was new to me, meaning I only need Mariner for the set (although I still have to take photos of Explorer since I only have video). The 137,00grt Adventure is the third of the Voyager class, debuting in 2001, and only one of three to have the blue stripe (Voyager and Explorer being the other two). We backed up behind her. |
I had an excursion an the coach was the only way to get photos without leaving the port, since they put barriers between the ships - cheeky gits! |
Adventure was due to sail at 4pm to our 6pm but left several minutes early. As she neared our bridge with her own, there was a horn battle between us with passengers from each ship yelling and cheering at the other. There was even a giant hand being waved from Adventure's bridge as backed out to turn then return to Malaga. |
