On January 29, 2011 Cunard Line's Queen Elizabeth made her maiden call to Los Angeles.  In with her that day were Norwegian Star and Sapphire Princess.  My husband Jason and I were going down to San Diego to meet his family who were coming into town and going to the San Diego Zoo that day, so we wouldn't be able to stay for the departure of any ships, but I thought it was my duty, at least to go see Miss Betty.  The photographs are a little boring because the ships were static.  We tried to get down early enough to see the ladies sail into harbor, but alas, they were all in port by the time we got there.
