| Before boarding Vision of the Seas for our cruise on the 23rd March 2008, Amy and her family took me to see the Queen Mary at Long Beach. We spent a few hours there, as well as having lunch, and we also had company. The 88,500grt Carnival Pride, precursor to the Vistas of Holland America, P&O and Cunard and also closer to Queen Victoria, Costa Luminosa and the forthcoming Queen Elizabeth. This ship had her maiden voyage in 2002 and was also doing a Mexican Riviera cruise. |
