| Fred Olsen's Balmoral made a return visit to Southampton on the 18th November 2010, exactly twenty-six months after her previous call. That was unscheduled but this wasn't. It was the beginning of a residency for as long as Fred Olsen wanted her here. She would be remaining during 2011 while Black Watch went to Dover for the summer. She was originally due to arrive at 6.30pm, sailing at 11pm. Departure was then changed to 1am on the 19th with arrival 7.15pm. I had planned to go down but couldn't wait those extra hours. As it was she left Ocean Terminal about 11.25pm. |
