And so to sailaway, where Carnival Freedom, Grand Princess and Crown Princess were 4pm, we and Infinity were 4.30pm while Eurodam and Oasis were 5pm. Well, Fort Lauderdale was no different to Southampton with everything going awry! Crown left first just before 4.30pm followed by Grand and the Carnival. Eurodam slipped out and as she was passing Infinity, Oasis backed away silently from the berth. As she turned, we threw our ropes and then had a horn battle with Infinity. This is where the best spot was being ruined by that bloody glass on the windsceen so I was stuck on one side. It was actually quite cool and windy, especially after the sun went down.
