Iona, Borealis & Aurora
Another year as cruising continued following the Covic-19 shutdown in the UK from March 2020 until May 2021.  An unexpected three ships on the 15th January 2022.  Aurora had been in since the 4th, getting a wet dock and went out for an overnight tootle on the 14th.  She followed in Iona and Borealis.  Borealis had originally left Liverpool on the 4th, calling into Southampton two days later then headed off on a round trip Caribbean cruise.  Unfortunately, due to new rules in the Caribbean, with many ports refusing entry if there were any cases on Covid, they had an overnight in Madeira before heading back home.  As I had missed her debut, I went over to town for some photos as she was in City Terminal just to disembark rather than the newer Horizon Fred have been using.
Borealis was due to sail to Liverpool to end the cruise and stay alongside until the next at 6pm with Iona an hour later.  Borealis left nearly twenty minutes late while Iona was almost twenty-five minutes past the hour.  Aurora was staying to continue the wet dock.
