| Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020. A new ship for us on the 24th October 2021 when Saga's brand new Spirit of Adventure finally sailed up Southampton Water. She had been close, with the naming and calls in Portsmouth, as well as being overnight at Salt Mead Anchorage towards the end of the maiden voyage so the passengers could watch the Fastnet Race. Now she was here for the duration and would be staying throughout 2022. Her 6pm departure was delayed two hours due to late passengers so I didn't go down due to Sunday buses. |
