| Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all cruise lines suspended operations from various dates in March 2020. Things had slowed down by the 31st May. Jewel of the Seas was making a return to the port, having last been here in 2007. She was repatriating crew, her last port being Gibraltar. Britannia was a normal call. Meanwhile, mystery abounded as Oceana anchored at Nab on the morning of 16th for an overnight despite being relegated to Dover. Then she was listed as coming in on the 29th, which was changed to the 31st. She sailed mid-afternoon, destination Newcastle. She arrived on the 2nd June, the same day P&O announced they were extending the suspension to and including the 15th October. She was booked to stay until the 15th September. |
