| These two were in again together on the 1st November 2018. QE was annoyingly the wrong way round in Mayflower while Mary was the right was round in Ocean. I had arranged to meet Pierce Bounds from Facebook, who had boarded in New York, was staying on to visit Zeebrugge (two night stay now instead of a sea day) then back to New York. I arrived around 11am and then we had a very nice lunch at the White Star. Unfortunately, due to crippling back pain, I had to go afterwards otherwise I'd have been in no fit state to watch the sailaway. Typically, Mary didn't sail until 5.30pm, but at least it was only a gentle breeze. |
