| A new caller on the 30th May in the shape of the 114,225grt Costa Pacifica, which entered service in 2011. She had a duel naming ceremony with Costa Deliziosa in Genova and was a sister to the ill-fated Costa Concordia It was the first time in Southampton but she had been to other UK ports. Her scheduled arrival time had been 9am, but VTS listed it as 8.30am. Due to only coming across from Le Havre, it was 6.30am so an early start. John and Roz Kennedy were down too but we seemed to be the only ones. |
