| Our first new ship of 2013 arrived on the 23rd March as the 71,300grt AIDAstella arrived on her maiden voyage, having left Warnemünde on the 17th. She is the last of the Sphinx class to be built. It also began the first time AIDA ships made regular calls to the port. Stella would be in a few times during the year while AIDAsol would be around later in the year, repeating in 2014. As I was in Australia on Radiance of the Seas doing a cruise, it was left to my dad to photograph her 8.30am arrival. The weather was bad so he sheltered before going home. |
