On the 1st December 2006, Norwegian Cruises Line's latest addition, the 93,500grt Norwegian Pearl, arrived from an overnight cruise from Rotterdam to a wet, cold and very windy Southampton. Originally due to arrive for 8.30am, it was changed the day before to 7am meaning she would now make her UK debut in the dark. But she was running late. She finally emerged around Fawley at 7.35am. We were the only ones down the marina until about 7.15 when a man in a van turned up to take photos and film, by which time she was docking. Excuse the blobs on some of the photos. They're rain drops.
