Norwegian Star (II) & Carnival Pride
On the 23rd March 2008, Amy and I were on Vision of the Seas for a Mexican Riviera cruise.  Norwegian Star left twenty minutes before us as we were doing lifeboat drill and headed for the breakwater as we left ten minutes early.  She was soon joined by Carnival Pride from Long Beach.
As the sun began to set we found we were catching up with the other two and wondered if their passengers had been taking as much interest in us as we had in them.
By nightfall we had passed and noticed Norwegian Star turn off, while Carnival Pride appeared to be lagging further and further behind her.  It's fun going out with other ships.  To see some photos of Carnival Pride earlier in the day docked by the Queen Mary in Long Beach, click here.  To read the review of our cruise, click here.
