On December 21, 2007 my sister and I went down to the port to see Summit, Seven Seas Mariner, Monarch of the Seas and Crystal Symphony. With Summit we now have the Millennium class set on this website! The 91,000grt Summit was the third of the class, debuting in October 2001. Four ships was a marvelous early Christmas present. It was going to be an interesting day because on the schedule it listed Crystal Symphony as being in OH-46, a slip I had never see or heard of before. When Patsy and I looked at Symphony's webcam that morning it showed Summit parked in front making them 91 and 92 respectively with Monarch in her usual berth of 93. However when I made it down to San Pedro there was no sign of Symphony anywhere. She had been replaced sometime by the 50,000grt Seven Seas Mariner, who made her maiden voyage in 2001 for Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, as it was then. I had no time to find Symphony and had to make do taking shots in the gathering darkness of the three ships I had. By the time one of them moved dreadfully late, it was so dark my digital camera couldn't compensate when it came to moving objects. The following are the best pictures I was able to get of Summit as she passed our station at Ports O'Call followed by the best images I was able to take at Land's End.
