| We headed back to Ocean Village and took the bus back to the ship so we could grab some lunch. I got photos of the ships first then we had a few drinks in he Captain's Club before 2pm sailaway. Josh announced there was now going to be a sailaway party of the aft deck. Disappointingly, despite being fleet mates, there was absolute silence between Marco and Columbus as we sailed. It was also announced the Queen's speech would be shown at 4pm in the Marco Polo Lounge for anyone who wanted to see it. We stayed on deck for a while as it was a beautiful day. Had a nap before dinner then a stroll around the deck afterwards and bed. |

| Another sea day on the 27th December as we sailed to Lanzarote. I popped outside and saw it was a bit murky. After breakfast we waited in Scott's Bar then took a little stroll outside while the steward did the cabin. It was a very lazy day with some drinks in Scott's Bar then another stroll on deck after lunch. I took more strolls, sitting on the deck enjoying the fresh air and also went for the sunset. Bruna, a crew member from Brazil, was out there too. Dinner then did my nightly walking the deck before bed. |

| Up early for our arrival into Lanzarote on the 28th. AIDAcara and Mein Schiff 4 were already there. We followed Oceana in but I didn't bother staying out due to the strong wind so went for breakfast. My dad and I had a stroll to see the ships afterwards and decided to stay onboard. With the ship being quiet, we could sit anywhere aft for lunch and we also made the most of the soft drinks package. Another lazy day but the weather was gorgeous. Oceana blasted off well before the 4pm departure time so I rushed out to find she had just passed. Mein Schiff 4 was 5.30pm with AIDAcara two hours later then I went with my dad to dinner. The comedian in the Marco Polo Show Lounge was Simon Sands, who I enjoyed but my dad said was rubbish. Then it was my nightly stroll around the deck before bed. |
