Queen Mary 2 - Hamburg Short Break
Britannia Club was going to be extended and the Grand Lobby lifts removed, but the BIGGEST change was going to be cabins added, mainly on deck 13 forward adjacent to The Lookout.  They had already made preparations during the two weeks transatlantic and we were seeing the result of that, which meant it was closed off.  It was quite sad seeing all the planks piled up as well as markings around he area the new cabins would be.
We returned to the cabin in time for the room service breakfast, which came early at 6.45am.  Bacon was ordered for both of us but didn't come.  Oskar ordered tea and got coffee while his pancakes got there eventually.  After a nap, we went to the Concierge Lounge since it had been locked before 8am then on the Observation Deck for the noon whistle.  It was such a gorgeous day.  Deck 13 was open again via the deck 12 stairs so we went for a closer look at the preparation work.
