Queen Mary 2 - Hamburg Short Break
One of the other major changes was the Winter Garden had now morphed into the Carinthia Lounge.  This is another feature found on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.  One thing we noticed was they had now blocked the walkway between Kings Court and Stairway B off so you had to walk around the room to go between them.  Meanwhile, the swivel chairs found along Deck 3 and in the Royal Court Theatre had changed from pink to purple.  The bell in the Grand Lobby they used to ring the noon whistle had vanished, as had the Boston Cup from outside the Chart Room.  Sir Samuels had been invaded by Godiva chocolates.  The photo accessory shop was now The Tasting Room.  The logo shop was far smaller than it used to be now it had moved units.  On Deck 2, the photo shop had been moved from 3L to opposite the Golden Lion while in its place were single cabins.  Britannia Club had been extended but the chairs were pretty tatty.  On the observation deck, the lights that were on all had cracked glass bar one which looked like it was about to blow.
