Some more outside photos before going to Jade for lunch and we were allowed to serve ourselves again, which was nice but it meant people shoved in more. The chicken pizza also had bell peppers. Not on top but hidden under the cheese for crying out loud! Nowhere did it state it contained any. I was getting seriously pissed off at the amount of food containing hidden peppers on this damn ship. I'd had no issues on Vision. The head chef on this ship was definitely obsessed.

Dock photos! I must admit, the noise the gangways made did unnerve me somewhat. I know they were perfectly safe as the ship was close to the side, but it was eerie. I walked farther than I had a year before on QM2 but was still frustratingly limited by my back. Oh to be able to just walk and walk and walk like I used to be able to. But Indy looked lovely. She was like Vision on steroids. Despite the crowds, lack of seating (why the hell aren't people using the balconies they paid for to read books or whatever instead of cluttering up the place???) and a few other things, RCCL do design beautiful ships inside and out. Curvy, sexy! Even Oasis and Allure have their good design points externally.

I had missed out on Johnny Rockets, both on Navigator and Indy in the past and had been told in no uncertain terms I HAD to go! There is a $4.95 surcharge for the basics with everything else you order, such as a milkshake, added on top. The food was delish but it's really the sort of place better suited to when there's more than one person. And they did their dance once while I was there.

Food was back in the Diamond Club which went down well. With the Windjammer opening at 6.30pm opposed to sister line Celebrity's 5.30pm, this would fill a small hole until dinner. I popped down to enquire about a ore-refit Vision cruise I'd been mulling over (already had a post-refit forthcoming) then went ahead and booked before going out for sailaway. Quite a few people were on the helipad waiting while Bee Gees songs were being sung by the band on AIDAbella. Our ropes went six minutes before 7pm and slowly we went astern.

After dinner I went to the library to kill time until John did the room. A couple walked in, the woman saying, "This is a quiet zone," before proceeding to yak constantly. Bet she's a thrill a minute in the quiet carriage on a train! Due to the norovirus the books had been removed. Later, before going to bed, I spotted Oceana heading from Tenerife to Gran Canaria as we went the opposite way.

Tenerife with poorer weather. I didn't get up for our arrival but after checking the webcam, headed out since it looked dry. It was fairly humid and did try to rain a few times as I walked to the end of AIDAbella. Last time I was there, I'd been taking photos of Liberty and the unscheduled Voyager so it was funny I was now doing Indy.

Lunch! The chicken curry was awful, fatty and bleurgh. They could take lessons from their counterparts on Constellation. The, what looked like, Bombay potatoes, was very nice. Went to the Diamond Club and it was horrible rain outside. I finally used my umbrella - walking around the top deck! I had a few strange looks but hey, I was dry while they were soaked. Who's the dumbo? Down to the Prom deck for shelter from the thunderstorm and thankfully it stopped so I went to the helipad and phoned my dad.

You can't see it on the picture but steam was coming from one of Indy's vents. AIDAbella was sailing to Madeira at 4pm, gave three blasts then slowly emerged from behind Indy. As we weren't due to go until 5pm, I made my way up to the Diamond Lounge to pass the time only we blasted twenty minutes early so I dashed out! We reversed out and turned.
